Global Explorer · Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

1. General

This Privacy Policy ("the Policy") describes how AI Global Explorer (Global Explorer) ("the App", "we", "the Operator") collects, uses, stores, discloses and protects information gathered from users and visitors ("the User", "you") when using the App and its services, at ai-global-explorer.com.

This Policy is drafted in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations promulgated thereunder, as well as the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable to you.

Your use of the App, including viewing its software and public pages, constitutes your consent to the terms of this Policy and to the App's Terms of Use. If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, please do not use the App.

2. Responsibility for the Database

Under the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 and the regulations promulgated thereunder, every operator of a database is legally required to protect the information it holds. Under these obligations, the Operator uses the information held in the database in a lawful and ordinary manner, solely for the purpose of operating and managing the database.

For further questions on this subject, you may contact us via the "Contact" page in the App.

3. Information We Collect

We collect information solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. The information collected includes:

a. Identity information — your email address and full name, provided when you register for the App or are invited to it. Providing this information stems from your wish to use the software's features; refraining from providing it may prevent use of those features.

b. Content you create — details of the trips you plan: destination, dates, traveler composition, preferences (style, budget, accommodation, transport), generated itineraries, experience notes, reviews and trip stories.

c. Location data — only within the Spontaneous Outing feature, and only with your express and active consent: your current GPS location and route points during an outing. The service does not track your location outside an outing you have started.

d. Photos — photos you upload yourself to document activities and trip stories.

e. Payment information — we do not collect or store credit card details. Payment details are collected and processed solely by external payment processors (see Section 7); the App retains a fulfillment record including the amount, package type, provider identity and transaction ID.

f. Support and feedback information — content you send through contact requests, feedback, ratings, and messages in the AI companion chat.

g. Technical and usage information — device and browser type, display language, display mode (dark/light), AI action counts for tiering purposes, and aggregated statistical traffic data that does not personally identify you.

h. Non-identifying information — we may use aggregated and anonymous statistical data for the management and improvement of the App; such data will not, to the extent possible, be used to identify you.

5. Purposes of Use

We use the information collected solely for the purpose of operating and managing the database, including:

a. Service delivery — creation, storage and display of personalized AI-based trip plans; attraction searches and spontaneous outings; provision of a trip preparation guide.

b. Account maintenance — authentication, password reset, and management of tiers and usage quotas.

c. Billing — management of subscriptions, top-up packs, invoices and payment confirmations through the payment processors.

d. Improvement and development — aggregated statistical analysis of usage for improving the App's features.

e. Support — responding to inquiries, feedback and bug reports.

f. Security and enforcement — preventing quota circumvention, abuse, and harm to the App or other users.

6. Processing of Information by Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The App's core features operate through artificial intelligence models. When you create or edit an itinerary, chat with the AI companion, or search for a spontaneous outing, your destination descriptions and preferences are sent to external AI model providers (such as Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic and Groq) or to a managed AI provider on the platform hosting the App.

If you choose to use your own personal API key for an AI provider, requests are sent directly to that provider, subject to its privacy policy and terms of use; we do not access the key after it is stored encrypted.

Content you enter into the AI models is not submitted by us as training input for the models. Nevertheless, we recommend avoiding entering sensitive personal information (such as ID numbers or health details) in free-text fields, as itinerary descriptions are sent to the AI providers for processing.

Images generated by AI for you (cover images and the like) are stored in the storage associated with the App.

7. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent or transfer personally identifying information to third parties for marketing purposes, except where required for the operation and management of the database and the service, as permitted by law, or subject to your consent. As part of operating the App, information systems of external entities are used, including:

a. AI providers — for itinerary creation, searches and chat features (Section 6).

b. Payment processors — Stripe for payments in foreign currency and Invoice4u for invoicing and payment processing in shekels; payment details are sent directly to these providers, subject to their privacy policies.

c. Infrastructure providers — the platform hosting the App, file storage services, authentication and email delivery services.

d. Content sources — public, non-personal data (such as Wikipedia, OpenStreetMap) for content and image display; these do not include your personal information.

e. Public trips — only if you choose to publish a trip as public: the itinerary, cover image and story will be accessible to visitors as described; your personal account details are not exposed.

f. Legal requirement — information may be disclosed as required by court order, ruling or other legal obligation, or to protect rights, property and safety.

g. Business transfer — in the event of a sale of the business, merger or transfer of the database to another company, the information will be used in accordance with this Policy and as permitted by law.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

The App uses local storage technologies (browser storage, cookies and their equivalents) solely for the following purposes:

a. Session and login management — storing your authentication token.

b. Preferences — display mode (dark/light), language and font size.

c. Functionality — installing the App as a web application (PWA) and preserving form state across wizard steps.

The App does not use cookies for sponsored advertising or personal cross-site tracking. You may clear or block local storage through your browser settings; this may affect functionality (for example, you will need to log in again).

9. Data Retention

We retain the information for as long as required for providing the service, compliance with legal obligations (including accounting laws relating to payment records), resolution of disputes, and enforcement of our agreements.

Payment records are retained in accordance with the legal obligations applicable to transaction management; trip content is retained for as long as your account is active, or until you request deletion.

Account deletion requests may be submitted at the permanent address /delete-account (no login required); your personal information will be deleted in accordance with the law, except for information required to be retained by law.

10. Information Security

We implement reasonable information security measures and protective systems in accordance with the law, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes of its processing, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or exposure.

Communication with the App is performed over the encryption standard (HTTPS), record access is based on per-user authorization rules, and administrative access to personal information is limited and controlled.

The foregoing does not constitute an undertaking that internet services will be completely safe from malicious intrusions; and subject to the law, we bear no responsibility for the activity of third parties or events beyond our control. In the event of a breach or loss of information in the database, steps will be taken in accordance with the law to mitigate the damage, investigate the event, and notify the required authorities and users.

11. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Protection Law, there is no legal obligation to provide personal information; the provision of information is at your will and with your consent.

In accordance with the law, you may:

a. Request information about the personal information held about you in the database, who holds it, and for what purposes it is used.

b. Request correction, updating or deletion of your personal information.

c. Request transfer of the information we have collected about you to another party (data portability), subject to the law.

d. Withdraw consent to consent-based processing, including location access.

e. Object to processing based on legitimate interest, subject to the law.

Requests may be submitted via the "Contact" page; reasonable efforts will be made to handle the request within a reasonable period. Information required to be retained by law will not be deleted, and a request to delete accounting records may be refused.

12. Minors

The service is not intended for minors under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If it is discovered that information has been collected from a minor without parental or guardian consent, the information will be deleted promptly upon discovery. A parent wishing to request deletion of a minor's information is invited to contact us via the "Contact" page.

13. Cross-Border Data Transfers

The App operates on international cloud infrastructure, and some of the service providers (including AI and payment providers) are located abroad. Accordingly, personal information may be transferred, stored and processed in various countries around the world, including the United States and the European Union. We will work to ensure that such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable law.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will be available at the permanent address /privacy in the App, and will include the last-updated date above. Where a material change is required with respect to information already collected, we will notify you in accordance with the law. Continued use of the App after publication of an update constitutes consent to the Policy as amended.

16. Contact Us

For any question, request or complaint regarding this Policy or the processing of your personal information, you may contact us via the "Contact" page in the App.

If you believe your privacy has been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Registrar at the Ministry of Justice, as well as the right to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in your place of residence.
